The pose, step by step
1. Stand facing the camera, shoulders relaxed. 2. Raise one arm to the side and bend it into a flex, wrist bent toward you so the biceps shows. 3. Bring the other hand up, curl the fingers over the top of the bicep and tuck the thumb under it. 4. The gap between fingers, thumb and muscle is the heart. 5. Hold it for a beat, add a small smile or head tilt.
The hand shape
| Part | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| Fingertips | Curled over the top of the flexed bicep |
| Thumb | Tucked under the bicep, pointing back toward you |
| The heart | The gap between fingers, thumb and muscle |
| Flexed wrist | Bent toward you so the muscle actually shows |
How to film it
Phone on a stand at chest height, vertical, close enough that you fill the frame from head to waist. Face a window for soft light and wear short sleeves. Start recording, look at the camera, do the pose and hold the heart for a second or two. Keep the whole clip to a few seconds.
Common mistakes and fixes
| Mistake | Fix |
|---|---|
| A full hand heart in the air | Only half: the arm makes the other half |
| Heart shape doesn't show | Turn the flexed arm slightly toward the camera |
| No visible bicep | Bend the wrist toward you and squeeze; short sleeves help |
| Clip feels long | Cut it to the look, the flex, the heart and the smile |
